Upon arrival at Beijing airport, pick up by our English speaking tour guide and drive to hotel. Free time for the rest of the day. |
Beijing | As the center of politics, cultural and international exchange, Beijing is a modern metropolis full of vitality.
For the history buffs, Beijing is a living museum, but it has something to offer everyone. It is also the starting point for most of our China vacations. |

[ Optional ] Lao She Tea House: Lao She Tea House is one of Beijing's most famous tea house, and has been visited by a number of well-known politicians. It is a wonderful entertainment house with short shows by comedians, singers, musicians, acrobats and opera performers. |

Day 2 Beijing ( B ) |
Great Wall Marathon Inspection Day for runners and spectators on May 19. Pikup from Beijing International Hotel at 05h30, drive 2.5 hours to Huangyaguan Great Wall. Race-entry-meeting from 08h15 to 08h45. Course inspection from 09h00 to 10h30: All runners must walk the 3.5km of the wall that is part of the Great Wall Marathon course to familiarize themselves with the route. After the inspection, 1 hour Lunch break(sandwiches, fruit and one drink). At 14h00, be transferred back to Beijing by coach. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day. |
Huangyaguan Great Wall | Huangyaguan section of Great Wall dips into the strategic Huangyaguan Pass, a large fortified garrison from the Ming dynasty has been somewhat modernized into visitor accommodation with the best view in town. |

[ Optional ] Dashilan old street: Dashilan is the oldest and perhaps one of Beijing’s most fascinating streets to explore. This district is cluttered South of Tian'anmen Square, it is the civilian area, known as the grassroots culture under the Forbidden City. |

Day 3 Beijing ( B,L,D ) |
Beijing city tour at leisure on May 20. Please remember do not walk too much today. You will have a private car with driver and a English speaking tour guide. Visit all must-see attractions in Downtown Beijing. At night, watch the famous Legend of Kungfu show, it is a kind of combination of arcobats, traditional Kungfu performance. |
Temple of Heaven | It was the place where the Emperor of the Ming and Qing dynasties would worship heaven and pray for good harvests. Built first in 1420, the Temple of Heaven is a precious example of China 's ancient architectural art and the largest design for worshipping heaven in the world. | Tian An Men Square | As the largest city plaza in the world, it is of great cultural significance for its seeing of several key events in Chinese history. Today here are always sightseers and kite-flyers. Most visit at dawn or dusk to see the flag raising and lowering conducted by the PLA. | Kungfu show | The splendid Kung Fu show, running daily in Red Theater of Beijing shows you an authentic Kung Fu on the spot, which combining story-telling, acrobatics to celebrate the philosophy and skill of martial airs. You enjoy the opportunity to contact performers directly after the show or to learn Kung Fu …… | Forbidden City | For almost 500 years, the Forbidden City served as the home of 24 Emperors and their households, and the ceremonial and political center of the Chinese imperial government. It was listed by UNESCO as a World Cultural Heritage Site in 1987. |

[ Optional ] Dayali Restaurant: More than 40 chain restaurants under the same trademark of Dayali has been opened in Beijing area, served Peking duck and other local dishes, customers are mostly local Beijingers. Foods are good and price are reasonable. |

Day 4 Beijing ( B ) |
Great Wall Marathon Day for runners and spectators on May 21. Pikup from Beijing International Hotel at 03h30, drive 2.5 hours to Huangyaguan Great Wall. Opening of the marathon (warm up, a short speech) from 06h15 to 07h30. All participants MUST BE ON SITE at 6h30. 5k starts at 07h15, Group 1 of Marathon and Half Marathon starts at 07h30, Group 2 of Marathon and Half Marathon starts at 07h40, 10k starts at 09h30. Lunch break(sandwiches, fruit and one drink) from 10h30 to 15h00. Busses start leaving for Beijing at 12:00 hrs, last bus leaves at 16:30 hrs. Leisure on your own at the rest of the day. At night, you might join in the Marathon Party of Gala dinner on your own expense. |
Huangyaguan Great Wall Marathon | The Huangyaguan Great Wall Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K will be held in Jixian town, Tianjin City, China in May every year. The first course is awesome with 8K on the Great Wall with the 1800 steps; the second is 10K routes, travel through the farmland and villages and cover the 1800 steps. |

Day 5 Beijing, Xian ( B,L ) |
Be transferred to Beijing airport for your morning flight to Xian. Pickup by our tour guide in Xian and start today's sightseeing tours. |
Muslim quarter | The Muslim Quarter features a mix of Chinese and Islamic cultures. It wins the reputation for the alley lined with market stall and the tasty snack food. Meanwhile, it is a good place to head for when looking for those hard-to-find souvenirs. | Ancient City Wall | It is the most well-preserved ancient military defensive systems in the world. It is composed of the moat, hanging bridges, battlements, watchtowers, tunnels and parapet. Today, the roadway is a promenade enjoyed by strolling tourist. Cycling on the wall with families is a great thing! | Shaanxi Provincial History Museum | It is one of the Top 3 national museums in China. This museum boasts 370,000 pieces relics range from prehistory when human just used simple stone tools to exquisite wares in the Qing Dynasty (1644–1911)., and enables you to see the vast changes of China in the past 5,000 years. |
