Day 16 Guilin, Shanghai ( B,L ) |
2 hours Morning cycle along trails to see rice paddies, farm house, green limestone hills and countryside. Visit Moon Hill on the way. You might climb up the Moon for extra 2 hours up and down. Ride back to the hotel to fresh up. (if you do not like climbing and biking, this moon hill and rice paddie tour can be transferred by coach). Later today you will be transfer to Guilin airport for your flight to Shanghai. Pickup from Shanghai airport and transfer to your hotel. |
Moon Hill | Moon Hill, one of the highlights in Yangshuo, gets this name as a moon-shaped hole penetrating a limestone pinnacle. You will enjoy various perspectives to appreciate the wonder, here the caves taking on different looks of “full-moon”, “half-moon” or “crescent moon”. | Yulong River | Yulong River is a small tribute of Li River, winds through rice planting fields, farm house, fishing bonds and thousands of limestone peaks. Many small dams have been built on Yulong River, still can see some relics of these ancient dams, which are used to hold water at a high level. | Bike ride in Yangshuo | Cycling Excursion is the best way to appreciate the pristine countryside scenery in Yangshuo as trails often lead where buses and cars can’t go. In addition, cycling riding is the most economic way to tour the Yangshuo countryside which only about 1-2 dollars per day, also a popular way. |

Inside the Yu Garden, you will be fascinated with traditional Chinese style houses, grottoes, pavilions, lotus ponds, and zigzag bridges crossing streams. | Yuyuan Market | Located next to the Yuyuan Garden, it's a lively market that specializes in traditional Chinese arts and crafts. Souvenir hunters should not miss this hot tourist destination. Also you can try some Shanghai Xiao Long Bao, vegetarian buns, chicken soup to experience a little of the Shanghai culture. | The Bund | The Bund is always the first thing to hit tourists when they visit Shanghai as it is regarded as Shanghai’s magnificent landmark. Continue our sightseeing tour in Shanghai. Later today you will be tranferred to airport for your flight to sweet home. |
